11th & 12th Floor Expansion
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
This complex 14,000-square-foot bridge addition at CHOP serves as a vital connection between the hospital’s West and South Towers, enhancing both functionality and patient care flow. Designed with precision and collaboration, the bridge integrates 32 new patient rooms that expand CHOP’s inpatient capacity and improve access to critical care areas. In addition to the patient spaces, the project includes new staff support areas designed to promote efficiency, comfort, and collaboration among care teams. Elevator upgrades are also incorporated to ensure smooth, reliable vertical transportation for patients, staff, and equipment. Together, these enhancements strengthen operational connectivity across the hospital, supporting CHOP’s mission to provide world-class pediatric healthcare within an advanced, thoughtfully designed environment.
