Description
This project consisted of an addition and renovation of the historic 150-year-old Boathouse for the University of Pennsylvania. As one of the country’s oldest collegiate boathouses, our Target team successfully restored and expanded the historic landmark to ensure top tier talent will continue to be a part of UPenn’s legacy. Upgrades included an updated facade, two-story entry vestibule, kitchen, multiple-purpose space, coaches’ quarters, locker rooms and a grand hall to showcase the school’s awards and achievements. New windows and balcony spaces were added to showcase the beautiful view of the Schuylkill River. This top-notch facility is home to UPenn’s three varsity row teams: Women’s, Men’s Lightweight and Men’s Heavyweight.
