The Cedar Ave Building at CHOP features a new canopy marking a distinct entry to the ground-level Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and Crisis Response Center (CRC) intake area. The basement provides staff touchdown spaces and break rooms to support daily operations. On the 4th and 7th floors, there are 46 inpatient rooms divided into three wings to separate different adolescent age groups. Alongside these patient areas are specialized spaces, including exam, vitals, seclusion, observation, medication, and soiled work rooms, as well as day and group rooms that support comprehensive patient care and treatment within a safe, organized environment.
