Target Building undertook the renovation of Esperanza Health Center’s Kensington location at 861 E. Allegheny Avenue—a local historic facility poised to become the gateway to Kensington. This pivotal establishment will offer crucial medical and related health services within the community. Strategically situated in the heart of Kensington, the facility is easily accessible for patients relying on public transportation. Esperanza, as the sole bilingual healthcare system catering to 70,000 patients in Philadelphia, holds a unique position. The project encompasses the transformation of a former bank building into a cutting-edge group medical facility, with additional site and off-site construction on the rear parking lot and a new parking garage, totaling approximately 5,000 square feet.
