Description
When Joan Shepp wanted to fulfill the vision of a true concept in Center City, the space at 1811 Chestnut Street was selected and transformed. Following a six-week renovation by Target Building Construction, three stories of stunning space overlook Chestnut in front and a private garden in the rear. The results: gleaming white walls, ceilings and epoxy floors provide the perfect contrast for collections by Moschino, Rick Owens, The Row 3.1 Phillip Lim and others, plus jewelry cases featuring Eddie Borgo, John Wind and more. Design-Build electrical with an impressive lighting package enhances and divides the spaces. Custom carpentry provides and divides fitting accessory and the shoe lounge while open spaces between designer collections enhance the gallery feel. Increased floor space provides room for expanded men’s fashions on the third floor while Joan and Ellen Shepp realized their dream of launching a designer residency program.
