Description
Target completed the fit out for CHOP’s Medical Warehouse and Central Sterile Processing Department building. The warehouse facility stores and distributes all the medical supplies to CHOP’s campuses. Upgrades included a full-service loading dock, new kitchen, and administrative office spaces. The Central Sterile Processing Department (CPD) also services all of CHOP’s campuses. Integrated ME systems were incorporated in the fit out including a state-of-the art conveyor/retrieval system that sorts and distributes medicine throughout the region. The facility is serviced by 4,300-ton roof top chillers, 2 dual fuel roof top emergency generators and 2 electric (one turbine) fire pumps. This facility also has multiple auxiliary areas to service the referenced operation above.
