Target Building successfully completed the interior fit-out of CHOP’s medical warehouse and sterile processing facility. Seamless collaboration with Norwood Construction ensured efficient delivery of key elements like stair towers, elevators, and interior finishes. Early involvement in the design phase minimized schedule impacts and maximized efficiency. The facility serves as a central hub for distributing medical supplies and houses a Central Sterile Processing Department (CPD) that sterilizes equipment for the entire hospital network. Key upgrades included a full-service loading dock, kitchen, administrative spaces, and integrated systems like a conveyor-retrieval system for regional medicine distribution. The facility operates with advanced infrastructure, including (4) 300-ton rooftop chillers, dual-fuel emergency generators, electric and turbine fire pumps, and auxiliary areas to support its operations. This project reflects our commitment to safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.
