Showroom Expansion

The Springfield Hyundai Showroom Expansion was a three-phase project to refurbish the Springfield Hyundai dealership and add a brand-new ground up showroom. The first phase consisted of a renovation to the service writer’s offices and new locker room facilities for the mechanics. The second phase began with updates to the mechanic shop finishes and once complete, Target Building broke ground on the site-work portion of phase two. New landscaping and paving were added around the building as well as an updated EIFS façade. The third phase began with erecting a new structural steel frame for the proposed showroom. Throughout the early months of 2023 the construction team worked to get the new building watertight and then began framing and finishes. The showroom was completed in August of 2023 with the new Hyundai Corporate branding. Throughout the entire construction process, Springfield Hyundai remained operational which was a major challenge but was made possible through a coordinated effort between the Target Building and Springfield Hyundai teams.
