Shriners Hospital for Children
Shriners Siemens Multitom RAX
Our team completed a Radiology Room renovation at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia featuring the installation of the Siemens Multitom RAX, a twin-robotic X-ray system that expands diagnostic capabilities for both standard radiography and advanced positioning. To accommodate the Multitom RAX, we enlarged the existing X-ray room, reconfigured the patient changing area and upgraded the control room with a sliding door and new workstation. The Renovation included upgraded finishes such as new lighting, ceiling systems, flooring, wall protection, an lead-lined partitions. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage systems were modified to support the equipment’s power, data, and cooling requirements. At approximately 884 SF, the completed space improves imaging flexibility, streamlines clinician workflows, and supports a more patient-friendly experience. The project enhances the hospital’s imaging capabilities and positions the suite for current and future diagnostic needs.
