Thomas Jefferson UniversitySolis Cohen Classroom

Description

Target Building Construction renovated the space for new classrooms at the Center City campus of Thomas Jefferson University. Project included extensive masonry demolition of a masonry wall 120 feet in length, 27 feet floor to ceiling. We built up the floor system 3 feet to accommodate the student’s classroom. The surrounding storefront glazing system received Meca shades for the new AV system and computer screens around the perimeter of the classroom. The classroom has 18 classroom tables each accommodating 9 students and 3 conference tables. Flooring included carpet tiles throughout the classroom and an epoxy floor in the hallway. We also installed 5 new electrical panels, down lighting, exterior flood lights, cameras, and projectors for the TV screens.
