University of Pennsylvania
The Wharton School – Huntsman Hall
Interior renovations at The Wharton School’s Huntsman Hall included administration office spaces, graduate suite, and the primary ground floor corridors. The corridors received all new ceiling grid & tiles, lighting, diffusers, and devices. The administration offices and graduate suite were fully demolished and received new MEP upgrades, millwork, flooring, and finishes. A portion of the graduate suite was converted into a lounge space and features a 50’ wall clad in Calacatta Vision Marble and a custom Wood Grille Baffle Ceiling. The primary challenge of this renovation was the timeline of completion over the University’s Summer Break. Multiple shifts were used to strategically accelerate the necessary tasks in order to deliver the project within the condensed timeframe. Continual and effective communication between shifts, and all project stakeholders ensured minor roadblocks were addressed quickly, and productivity was maintained.
